UPPER SCHOOL SUMMER READING, 2022
This summer, we in the NCCS English Department ask each
Upper School student to read at least three books …
and encourage you to read more!
1. An All-Upper School read: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum
2. A Grade level read (see below)
3. A free choice read (see below)
When we return to school in the fall, we will display our books in the commons and orchestrate a “book swap” among grades and classes. If you need help getting your hands on a paperback that you don't mind swapping in the fall, please reach out to Mrs. Gault at sgault@countryschool.net!

It’s summer.
Three books are ONLY the beginning!
Read! Read! Read!
Summer is a great time to read, so read as much as you can. It is important to also read a variety of enjoyable books over the summer.
In addition to perusing the tabs above, please take advantage of your Public Library Summer Reading Programs, books, audio and e-books available for free.
We look forward to seeing you in September. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy your summer reading books, read as much as you can, and have a wonderful summer!
Best wishes for a great summer from your Upper School teachers, and your Librarian.
