The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Inc. is the nonprofit organization authorized by Congress in 1980 to fund and build the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Doug was drafted in 1969 and served in the central highlands of Vietnam from July 1969 to August 1970. He worked for 27 years at the University of Maine at Farmington.
